1981-David joined the electrical union as an "Apprentice Electronic Technician," specializing in high-rise life safety fire alarm systems. 

1985- After successful course completion and "on the job" training, David became a "Journeyman Electronic Technician". 

1990- Founded Summit Systems, Inc., to specialize in alarm & central vacuum systems. 

1994- Jean joined Summit Systems, Inc. , bringing customer service and business expertise

1996- Expanded Summit systems, Inc. to include installation of cameras & audio video systems.

2005- Introduced a new line of home automation products so customers can "stay in touch" with their home
